3.2. Signal Processing
The EMG signals were filtered off-line,
using aButterworth low-pass filter.
The linear envelopes, RMS and power
spectrumwere performed.
The positive values of the raw
piezoelectric datawere rectified. Then

phasewere derived.

Results
The piezoelectric sensors canbeutilized todetectmuscle contraction.
The piezoelectric sensors candetect skeletal muscles fatigue.
Inverse linear relationship (R²=0.975) was found between the amplitudes of theEMG
and the piezoelectric sensor signals with the increasedmuscle load.
