GOALS
Design and development of a gas powered turbine,
designated for use in the specific system.
Individual learning of a new field of study.
Study areas include: Turbine and pump design and
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation software.
Astudy at “Afeka” discusses anoption for utilizing excess
energy absorbed by ahigh efficiency solar water heater to
create an energy conversion system using theRankine cycle.
This project deals with the development of a high pressure,
low flow rate turbine specific to the system.
