Robotics integration in the field of
medicine is a fast growing field,
covering many aspects from basic to
complex operations, either
autonomous or remoteoperated.
One of the biggest challenges is
providing "real" feedback to its
operator while performing certain
tasks,which ledme todevelop a
systemwhich is capable of doing so.
The objectives in this project
would be tobuild a robotic hand
which will translate the force
exerted by it toa stopping
mechanism onanoperator's
glove, andmove the robotic
hand fingers according the
operator’s glove.
- Translating finger
movement to robotic
finger movement
- Ability to choose the
threshold for the
stoppingmechanism
- Reliable haptic feedback
- Constant twoway
communication between
the robotic hand and the
glove
